I figured he probably wasn't going to wind up running, but I still want to say "Rats." Tom would have made a fine president -- and I think he would have run had he not been defeated by Thune. (I also feel SD would have been much better off had Thune NOT won.)

Okay, here's my inspiration. I'm driving down Minn. Ave. heading North and seeing protests on both sides of 41st st. The irony is seeing a big ol' picture of Gov. Rounds -- who caused this whole mess -- with the caption "Cooperation" next to his face. I think about education funding, the healthcare of this state -- as well as this particular bill which has divided the state so ....

I'm including a couple pictures. Sen. McGovern spoke at our library today -- speaking about his newest book. It was such an honor to see him speak again and meeting him again!!!
